On January 1, 2025, new regulations will come into effect requiring all parking lots with at least 20 spaces to have at least one charging station if the parking is associated with a commercial property. Since 2021, similar rules have applied to newly built parking lots, but in 2025, this will also apply to all existing commercial parking lots. The purpose of these regulations is to facilitate the rapidly growing electric vehicle market and ensure that charging infrastructure is accessible to everyone who needs it.
