The Foundation Tryggare Sverige, Solna Municipality, and Light Bureau have launched betriot.nu. The purpose of the website is to increase awareness of smart lighting and its significance in reducing crime and enhancing safety.
BETRIOT provides information about the future of lighting and consists of four levels (thoughtful, adapted, smart, transcending), with each level indicating the specific requirements that the municipal organization must meet to successfully achieve that level.
We hope to inspire and provide knowledge on how a municipality can work with smart lighting in the public environment in a climate-smart and equitable manner, improving safety, security, and energy savings in the community.
