The QTR-71 is a contactless tag reader with reading according to reader standard EM4102, which is colloquially referred to as RFID. Reading takes place by holding the RFID tag against the front of the tag reader. The LED is tri-colored and glows with a steady red light when locked, flashes yellow when the tag is read and lights with a steady green light when the door is unlocked.
