The NSBT IC400 continues to crimp until the correct counterpressure is reached, meaning the tool applies additional force in cases where the cable’s physical cross-sectional area is no longer consistent (a common issue today as cross-section is now determined by conductivity rather than physical area). Crimps made with this tool comply with IEC 61238-1 and SEN 24 50 10/12 standards.
The tool is delivered in a robust case, along with a Bosch battery, a battery charger, a shoulder strap, and a calibration gauge. The calibration gauge is used to verify that the crimping equipment is correctly calibrated.
As an option, the NSBT IC400 can be equipped with pre-forming dies and C-sleeve dies for additional functionality.
